It is time for the Dobbin Family from near and far to gather together. The reunion committee has been hard at work planning a wonderful weekend of family fellowship.

Reunion Saturday, July 15, 2023 11:00am to 6:00pm
We will be at the Johnston County Agricultural Center (2736 NC 210 Highway Smithfield, NC 27577). Anyone interested in helping with set up should plan to arrive at 9:15am.
The event will be catered by Meadow Village of Benson, NC.
This year’s theme is “Family Game Night”. Don’t forget to wear royal blue or your blue family reunion t-shirts!
Ticket Information: $35.00 for ages 16 and up; $22.00 for ages 6-15; No charge for ages 5 and under
Payment can be submitted by check to the Descendants of Emory and Patsy Dobbin and mailed (information provided on the order form) or by “text 2 give” by texting “Give” to 919-299-1912 and following the prompts to submit payment for reunion tickets, family dues and/or scholarship.
The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, June 30, 2023. Please note that the ticket price covers Saturday only. There has been an increase in price to account for increase in rental fees and catering.

We will continue the family tradition of worshiping together at a designated church (to be announced at a later date). Please be prepared to leave a donation at the church.
A New Family Tradition
The reunion committee would like to provide the family with an opportunity to “serve” our community by sponsoring the State Employees Credit Union Hospice House of Johnston Health. The Hospice house supports patients and their families; as patients live out their last days peacefully. They have asked us to help stock the Family Kitchen Pantry, which is used by “families who do not wish to leave their loved ones”. Please review the list of requested items provided by the Hospice House. We ask that you give generously. We want to bless this house and the families that utilize it. Please bring items from the attached list to the family reunion on Saturday, July 15th. If you prefer us to do the shopping for you, please bring and/or send donations to LaTonya Hinton via cash App with the tag $66JOD. Thank you in advance for your support.

In addition, please wear a family reunion t-shirt or the family color, royal blue. The cost is $12.00 for 2 hours of unlimited bowling including the shoe rental. Please note that family dues as well as donations to the scholarship fund can be made prior to the start of the event.

Our 66th Dobbin Family Reunion is almost here!
As a reminder there are 3 ways to send your money for family dues and the DFR Scholarship Fund:
- Mail your check, cash, money order to Descendants of Patsy and Emory Dobbin c/o Mrs. Lamonica C. Smith 1405 Foxwood Drive Garner, NC 27529. Please include how many family members you are paying dues for ($1 per person), as well as how much money will be used for the DFR Scholarship Fund. Please note if you are also giving a financial gift for Mount Hebrew AME Church on Sunday, July 17th.
